Our studios are available for a minimum of 1 hour and can be increased on 30 minute intervals (for example a booking can be 1.5 hours or 3.5 hours).

Contact us via WhatsApp and tell us what studio you are interested in. Share your name, booking date and how long you want to the book for. Extra points if you describe what it is you are looking to do.
Our team will find the closest available time for you. We suggest booking a minimum 1 week in advance to be safe.
You will receive a link to our studio setup menu where you can select a style and also any add-ons you might think you need.
A booking confirmation will be sent to you to lock in the details.
Come and use the studio.
Let us know what studio set-up you’d like and, as long as there is no studio booking before yours, our team will arrange it before you arrive (99% of the time). Failure to do so will have set-up time included in your booking time.
For more complicated set ups/late arrivals, your booking time begins as per scheduled, not when you begin creating.
Also, let us know what equipment you will need. All equipment stated on our website comes with the studio booked. See what comes with the studios here.
If you need further equipment, our partners at Pondok Lensa have pretty much everything available for rent.

Once you enter the studio our team will conduct a test and get your approval for the shot or audio. After you signal all is okay, our team will leave the studio. If you need assistance during your session, just WhatsApp our number.

If you are shooting video with our 4k cameras and using our memory cards, you have two options to take home these files. Please note that a 1 hour 4k file can be around 25GB.
You can copy the files directly to your laptop or harddrive in our reception area.
We can upload you files to our GoogleDrive and you will receive a link to your folder in your email. Note: Your files will only be available for download for 1 week. After 1 week we delete these files to make space for other customers.
If you need an extra week to download the files due to travel or internet issues, feel free to WhatsApp us your request before the expiry and we can extend the delete date.

We have a system of sharing the uploaded GoogleDrive link directly to your email and this email clearly states when the folder will be deleted (1 week from upload date). This warning is also written on the name of the folder.
If you fail to download the files in time, Genesis is not responsible for anything and will not refund or offer a reshoot due to this. We know this is unfortunate but we are not in charge of keeping track of who downloaded their files.

Yes of course! Whatever tool helps with your creativity and output, who are we to deny you of this?
If you request our team to setup your equipment, please note that while we are versed in our own equipment, there is a chance that the team would need your studio time to adjust your settings and conduct a test. Any errors, mishaps and malfunctions of your equipment is still your responsibility.

We know what it’s like to be in the creative flow state, so we’ve baked in a few anxiety reducing measures:
Firstly, if you need more time, just ask us before your session. We might have an available half hour or hour after your booking.
We have a sophisticated lighting system that turns blue when you have 10min left and turn red when the booking is finished.
If you exceed your booking time and you are still recording we will have to enter the studio and interrupt your session as we meticulously schedule time to setup for other customers.

Absolutely! Projects have many different aspects to be covered and we know just how difficult managing the tech can be. So, if you want, you can hire one of our team members as a studio assistant (starting from Rp.200k / hour)

Essentially, we take no ownership of the files and will never publicly share or distribute unless ordered to do so by law enforcement or government.
However, we do still have the right to upload the files to our GoogleDrive and also delete them once the expiry date is reached.

Economise your creativity with our package discounts starting from 5 hours.
5 Hours = 10% Discount
10 Hours = 10% Discount
15 Hours = 15% Discount
20 Hours = 20% Discount
Note, all credit needs to be purchased in advance. If your project extends beyond your package hours, you will need to either purchase another package or set amount of hours to continue the discount benefit.
Credit bought as a package have a validity of 6 months. After 6 months, this credit will no longer be valid and cannot be used. Credit is non-refundable. -
We can give a full refund with more than 48 Hours notice. We require 48 hours notice as this gives us the best chance to rent out the studio to someone else.
CANCELLATIONS MADE 24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR BOOKING WILL INCCUR A 50% CANCELLATION FEE (including bookings made with credit. If you bought a 10 hour package and cancelled your first 2 hour booking within 24 hours of the start time, you will have 9 hours remaining). Future studio time will be refused until this cancellation fee is paid.

Any and all damages incurred during your studio session will be charged to the individual there for the booking, in full.
We have CCTV in our studio to help understand mishaps and damages caused to our equipment or our space in general.
