Eco Warrior DJ Halim Ardie - I Create.
Halim Ardie is the eco-warrior DJ & party organizer who helps out-of-work hospitality workers and saves orangutans’ natural habitat.
One of those passionate people who turn the (p)reaching potential of their hobby into meaningful action.
Resident DJ at Omnia Bali, co-founder of Rainforest Pavillon, he pushes clubs to adopt ecological practices, and advocates for environmental protection through role model events.
Influenced by the exploding electronic music scene of Jakarta 10 years ago, Halim wanted to spread the gospel here in Bali.
The Holy Island helped realise his dream: saving eco systems with enlightening sound systems, and delighting dancing crowds at the same time.
With clubs locking down, and parties made illegal, the message was to be spread from beyond the booth. Answering local populations’ economic distress, he focused on his extracurricular projects.
When money is no longer an issue (or option), the currency of kindness becomes the most important medium of exchange.
It’s the reward in itself that always gives back.
From recording live streams and mixes to raise funds, to hosting his own live discussions for Club Conscious, he maintained the DJ Hustler spirit by shifting gear.

As most of us were trying to start the projects we’ve always dreamed of, Halim took opportunities while simultaneously going back to basics.
He’s been teaching his DJ Course right here at Genesis, educating the next generation of DJ’s how to hone their skills.
